August meeting – The Refurbishmet of Compton Acres

On the 5th August our speaker will be Mary Payne, a Chelsea gold medal winner.  Mary’s subject will be the refurbishment of Compton Acres and her involvement with the project.

Compton Acre is near Bournemouth and is regarded by many as one of the most important historic gardens in England.

The talk will commence at 7:30pm at Colwall Village Hall and refreshments are available from 7:00pm so come early and meet other keen gardeners.

And don’t forget the Annual Flower Show on the 10th August 2013

We are pleased to announce that Herefordshire based sculptress Victoria Westaway will be giving demonstrations at the show on the 10th August.
